ALL ON-CALL VOLUNTEERS ARE AVAILABLE FROM 9AM-9PM 7 DAYS A WEEK INCLUDING ALL HOLIDAYS. THE HOTLINE NUMBER IS ALSO A 24 HOUR ANSWERING SERVICE AVAILABLE FOR AFTER HOURS TO TAKE MESSAGES. There are some volunteers that are available depending on the type of animal for after hours care.

We have a limited number of volunteers. During the spring and summer month's volunteers are very busy and sometimes exhausted. We ask if there is any way you can transport the animal to a WRT member it would be most helpful and much appreciated. The on-call person can direct you to the closest WRT volunteer available to your location.

Working under state and federal permits, Wildlife Rescue Team, Inc. is a non-profit, independent, all volunteer organization dedicated to raising and rehabilitating Nebraska's orphaned and injured wildlife for eventual release back into their natural habitat.

Wildlife Rescue Team, Inc. operates with no federal, state or city funding, but depends totally upon private contributions, membership fees, and donations of supplies and services. No salaries are paid to any member of WRT.
